Belmont

Entrance to the parking are on right, trail on left

The Fred Meijer White Pine Trail State Park passes through the community of Belmont that is mostly a bedroom community.

The trail crosses Belmont Ave. where you will find a large staging area adjacent to the trail along with a party store and an ice cream shop.  The staging area is owned / operated by the Kent County Parks system and has restrooms that are open during the warm months.  The staging area is connected to the Kent County Parks system’s "Rogue River Park".

Belmont is also the site of the Plainfield Township office complex which is the governing body for the Belmont and Comstock Park communities.

There is a small business district that has a pizza shop a short distance away.
