Cadillac

The northern terminus of Fred Meijer White Pine Trail is in the City of Cadillac.

 

Cadillac is a major resort / tourist area with two lakes; Mitchell and Cadillac within the city and Mitchell State Park located on Lake Mitchell.

 

Cadillac is also rich in historic value as it was once called the “Lumber Capital” and was the home of several lumber barons.

 

There are many options for lodging and dinning in and around the Cadillac area.

Mitchell State Park is a popular camping, fishing and boating destination.  The park is situated between Lake Mitchell and Lake Cadillac and provides an excellent opportunity to view a variety of wildlife.  A historic canal connects the two lakes and runs directly through the park
