Cedar Springs

The Fred Meijer White Pine Trail State Park passes through the City of Cedar Springs!

Cedar Springs is known as the “Red Flannel Town” and they “Celebrate Underwear”.

There are several places to eat in the downtown area and also fast food services are on 17 Mile road about ¾ of a mile west of the trail near the 131 expressway.  Just west of the expressway on 17 Mile Road is a Meijer store.

A campground is located just south of the 17 Mile Road interchange on White Creek Ave, and an addtional campground is located north of 17 Mile on the same road.

Gordon Park is Kent County's first park and is located between Cedar Springs and Sand Lake.

A new staging area was built in 2010 with amenities that include restroom and shelter.  Visit the Staging Area page for more information and directions.
