Reed City

The Fred Meijer White Pine Trail State Park passes through Reed City and crosses the Pere Marquette Trail in the city.

There is a special “Diamond” crossing which is an unusual item on a rail trail.  At the site of the “Diamond” there is a recently constructed facility which houses heated restrooms and provides an open shelter area; there is also a fire pit at the location with fires maintained in the winter months.

Reed city has a number of dining options, as well as other businesses that may be of value to the trail user.

On the north side of Reed City the trail passes through a covered bridge.
