The Fred Meijer White Pine Trail State Park begins at the southern end in the City of Walker.

The city has a trail that parallels North Park Street with a small staging area at the southeast corner of North Park Street and West River Road. The Walker trail also connects to a trail that runs through the City of Grand Rapids’ Riverside Park.

The trail user; with the use of a small section city sidewalks can connect to the park that parallels the Grand River through downtown Grand Rapids.
